BRING WITH YOU TO CLASS
- In order to maintain a valid firearm permit, you must re-qualify with the calibers listed on the permit twice per year. Each re-qualification must be completed at least 4 months between re-qualifications.
- ALL re-quals must include a 2-hr refresher class in de-escalation and use of force prior to the range.
- All four re-quals, AND four refreshers should be submitted for renewal to BSIS at least 60 days, but no more than 90 days before the expiration date in order to allow BSIS time to send your NEW license.
- Failure to meet these requirements will require you to reapply for a new permit.

- PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU NEED TO RENT A FIREARM WHEN REGISTERING, OR ONE WON'T BE AVAILABLE FOR YOU.
BRING WITH YOU TO CLASS
- If you are using your own pistol to qualify: your pistol, a holster for the pistol (holsters having a retention device that is deactivated with your trigger finger are NOT allowed), minimum of 3 magazines (for semi-autos) or 2 speed loaders (for revolvers), mag or speed loader pouch, a sturdy belt.
- Ammunition (MINIMUM 50 ROUNDS FOR EACH CALIBER, MORE IS BETTER.)
- DUE TO NEW LAW REGARDING AMMUNITION SALES, BE SURE TO BUY YOUR AMMUNITION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. WE DO NOT SELL AMMUNITION.

- Alien Registration Receipt Card [green card] (INS Form I-151 or AR-3a; issued by INS prior to June 1978).
- Permanent Resident Card [green card] (INS Form I-551).
- Certificate of Naturalization (INS Form N-550 or N-570).
- United States Citizen Identification Card (INS Form I-197).
- Identification Card for use of Resident Citizen in the United States (INS Form I-179).
- Certificate of United States Citizenship (INS Form N-560 or N-561).
- Certificate of Birth abroad issued by the Department of State (Form FS-545 or form DS-1350).
- Native American Tribal documents.
- United States Military ID, Geneva Convention Identification card for Active Military Person (unexpired).
- Report of Separation [military discharge] (Form DD-214).
- Birth Certificate showing birth in the United States, American Samoa, District of Columbia, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, Swains Island, or United States Virgin Islands.
- United States Passport Book (unexpired) or United States Passport Card (unexpired).
- Permit to Re-enter the United States (INS Form I-327).
- Refugee or parolee documents only if accompanied by INS Form I-151, AR-3a, or I-551.
